Garage Project
EZ-Build SIP Blocks were an ideal solution for use as a material for walls in a new 28″ by 28″ heated garage. In application like this you would benefit by having a nominal .5″ thick OSB (Oriented Strand Board) surface on both inside and outside surfaces, which makes the outside sub surface sheathing unnecessary while the inside OSB surfaces make an excellent finished surface for a garage. Any application where heat is a factor the EZ-Build SIP Blocks should represent a natural solution.
Project Videos
This video shows the placement of the cornerstone or the anchor block for the project. This is the very first EZ-Build SIP Block that will be a part of this garage project and it’s fastened to the plate below and it’s fastened to that 2×6 sticking up in the air. Everything will proceed from that point.
The attendant is stapling the bottom edge of the EZ-Build SIP Block to the plate to the six plate along the bottom of the wall.
The attendant is using a device similar to a caulking gun to apply Sip Seal to the surfaces in joining surfaces of the EZ-Build SIP Blocks so that no air flow will move between the blocks.
